Technical Services Technician

Fuchs is constantly developing new products and services that are truly “leading edge”. Fuchs Lubricants Co. is looking for a Technical Services Technician based out of Harvey, IL.

Responsibilities include: 

-->  Coordinating the water-based running report process from start to finish and acts as a link between the Field Support Chemists and technicians to ensure accurate and precise data are provided to as to maintain the target turnaround for sample analyses

-->  Maintaining the sample log for the Technical Services laboratory

-->  Performs water-based fluid sample testing as needed

-->  Maintains the equipment and supplies utilized in the testing of the water-based fluid samples

-->  Recommends potential improvements in the areas of responsibilities to the Technical Services Manager

Qualifications:

-->  BS or in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent science

-->  Minimum of 2 years previous chemical laboratory experience

-->  Demonstrates a high level of knowledge of testing equipment

-->  Strong communication (both oral and written) skills

-->  Ability to be flexible, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure

-->  Self-motivated with a high level of initiative

-->  Detail orientated with excellent organizational skills
