| Description: | Fuchs Lubricants Co. is the U.S. operating unit of the Fuchs Worldwide Group, the world's largest independent specialty lubricants manufacturer. Fuchs is constantly developing new products and services that are truly "leading edge". Fuchs Lubricants Co. is looking for an Accountant based out of Harvey, IL.
Responsibilities include:
• Supervising accounts receivable
• Assisting the credit department with SAP issues
• Troubleshooting SAP issues related to A/R and Credit
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Monthly analysis of various expense line items in P & L
• Producing Proforma P & L for industry segments
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Assisting with the annual budget
• Special projects
Qualifications:
• BA/BS Accounting
• CPA
• 3 to 5 years corporate financial accounting, auditing or financial statement preparation experience and experience with multiple functional accounting areas such as receivables credit or budgeting
• 2+ years financial budgeting and reporting experience
• Solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and established accounting practices
• Knowledge of automated accounting and computer systems
• Advanced spreadsheet application skills
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
• Self-starter, able to work under limited supervision
• 1 – 2 years of SAP experience preferred
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing industry preferred
